Brooke and Scott’s New York wedding celebrated classic glamour against the iconic city skyline. The editorial photographic style by Olivia Christina Photography captured the energy from the day in candid, joyful snapshots.

Wearing feather-trimmed bridal pajamas, Brooke got ready with her family and closest friends. Her old Hollywood waves and classic bridal makeup were styled by NYC makeup artist Looks by Gigi. The bridesmaids looked chic as ever in their sleek black bridesmaids dresses, which allowed Brooke’s Heidi Elnora wedding dress to pop in contrast.

Brooke discovered our designer bridal brand at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City, where our designer Heidi Elnora hosted a bridal trunk show. Working with Heidi herself, Brooke fell in love with our Diana Kelly ball gown wedding dress, which features a deep V-neckline and pleated skirt with buttons down the back. Heidi helped Brooke customize her gown by thinning the straps to better suit Brooke’s proportions–we love guiding brides with simple tweaks that can make a gown truly feel tailored to their style.

To further personalize her bridal look, we worked one-on-one with Brooke to design a custom lace topper for her classic wedding gown. Brooke was able to select her favorite lace from our collection, and we hand-placed and hand-sewed the individual lace appliques to make this a true couture piece. Custom designing bridal toppers and wedding dress overlays is something we are known for, and we are constantly inspired by the fashion-forward style of our brides. We treasured creating this special overlay for Brooke!

After a sweet first look, Brooke and Scott took to the streets of the Big Apple for some unforgettable wedding photos around the city. When it came time for the wedding ceremony to begin, guests entered the awe-inspiring New York wedding venue Guastavinos, which came to life with an air of romantic grandeur. Taking center stage was the chuppah created by Bride and Blossom, an enchanting display wrapped in twigs and delicate pink blossoms that framed Brooke and Scott as they said “I do.”

The romantic wedding style carried into the reception, where grand table centerpieces matching the chuppah highlighted the dramatic arched ceilings of Guastavinos. Wedding videographer 15 Minutes of Frame captured all the sentimental moments from the reception, including Brooke’s choreographed first dance with her mom and the sweet toasts shared by the couple’s families. After dinner and drinks, Brooked changed into a white bridal mini dress and sneakers to hit the dance floor. The dance party extended well into the night, ending with a late night pizza party–that’s our kind of wedding send-off!

It was such an honor to work with Brooke at Bergdorf Goodman, as she was our first Bergdorf bride! We are proud to carry our wedding dresses at Bergdorf Goodman and be able to share Heidi Elnora wedding gowns with New York brides. We adore Brooke and wish her and Scott a lifetime of happiness!
