Marissa and Frank’s wedding transported us to a romantic destination where their true love shone brightly. The couple got married at The Club at Corazón, a luxury Ohio wedding venue that looks like the lush Tuscan countryside dotted with a vineyard, sun-dappled lake, and beautiful gardens. Every detail executed by wedding coordinator Halle Perretta created an intimate wedding inspired by Italy, and local wedding photographer Stephanie West captured it to perfection.

Within the ivy-covered bridal suite at The Club at Corazón, Marissa and her bridesmaids popped the champagne and got ready for the day in coordinating satin robes--the girls wore black bridesmaids robes, while Marissa wore a lace-trimmed ivory bridal robe. We love the chic black and white wedding stationery suite that set the tone for the wedding day. The talented hair and makeup team at Le Reve styled the ladies; we especially love Marissa’s sleek bridal hairstyle with a center part.

Marissa chose not one, but two Heidi Elnora wedding dresses for her big day. For her ceremony, she chose our much-adored Shelby Rae lace wedding dress from the Heidi Elnora Atelier collection. This trumpet wedding dress features a V-neckline and low V-back and is fully appliqued with a gorgeous lace atop layers of Swiss dot netting and a nude underlay. It is the most perfect version of a classic lace wedding dress, and it looked lovely alongside Frank’s classic black tuxedo and the blush pink bridesmaids dresses. Marissa wore this gown with such elegance, and her crystal drop bridal earrings and Jimmy Choo bridal shoes were the perfect accessories!

After a lakeside wedding ceremony, Marissa changed into her reception dress: our May May Cates crepe wedding dress from our Build-A-Bride™ collection. This minimalist wedding dress made for a chic complement to Marissa’s embellished wedding dress for her ceremony. For her reception, Marissa also pulled her hair back into a sleek bridal ponytail and added statement bridal earrings, which drew attention to the dramatic cowl back of her gown. So many of our brides are looking for a two-in-one-wedding look for their big day, and Marissa was able to be the star on her wedding day in two different, yet complementary Heidi Elnora looks.

We adore the fresh flowers that tied the ceremony and reception together--from the bright white floral and greenery wedding arch to the grand floral table centerpieces, local florist Petals & Leaves did a wonderful job uniting the decor through flowers. For an added personalized detail, an ivy wall with florals and a custom sign of the couple’s last name made for a striking photo backdrop at the reception.

The multi-tiered wedding cake by Ohio bakery Short North Piece of Cake looked absolutely delicious, and live music by Bluewater Kings Band brought energy to the dance floor. These reception dance party photos are so fun that we wish we had been there to dance with the guests! The group sent off Marissa and Frank with sparklers before the newlyweds drove off in a vintage white car.

Marissa and Frank’s wedding day was just beautiful, and we are grateful to have been a part of it!
