caroline + carter
Caroline and Carter’s country club wedding could not have been more beautiful. Caroline glowed throughout the day, and photographer Tiffany with Aislinn Kate Wedding Photography captured each sweet emotion perfectly.
The bride got ready at home, wearing a Swiss dot bridal robe while her friends wore matching ruffled bridesmaids pajamas. Local hair stylist Lynsey Richardson with Perfectly Undone Beauty styled Caroline’s hair into a lovely half-up half-down bridal hairstyle, and wedding makeup artist Skin by Kendall Lyn did her natural bridal makeup. We love the precious getting ready moments between Caroline and her family!
Caroline worked with our design team to create a custom wedding dress: she combined the top of Emme Still, a designer wedding dress from our atelier collection that features hand-sewn lace appliques along a plunging illusion bodice, with the skirt of Coco Marie, a structured trumpet wedding dress. Caroline is a great example that customization doesn’t always mean creating a dress from scratch; by combining the top of one wedding dress with the skirt of another, Caroline created a unique wedding dress she absolutely loved! She completed her wedding day look with vintage-inspired crystal studs and our Clean-edge Chapel Veil, a favorite wedding veil amongst our brides.
The bridesmaids wore on-trend ice blue bridesmaids dresses from Bella Bridesmaids, while Carter and his groomsmen wore tuxedos from Gents Formal Wear. Both mothers looked lovely in their occasion wear; Caroline’s mom wore a minimalist blush pink mother of the bride dress, while Carter’s mom wore a blue beaded mother of the groom dress. The fresh white bouquets and boutonnieres tied the classic color scheme together.
Caroline and Carter said “I do” under a dramatic shaded tree at the Pensacola Country Club overlooking the water. This gorgeous outdoor wedding venue in Florida made for beautiful photos and views the wedding guests won’t forget. Musician John Ripley played live piano for the wedding ceremony, while wedding videographer Story Live Productions captured the ceremony on camera.
Following the wedding ceremony and photos on the golf course, the guests entered a fun reception in a wedding tent lined with greenery and decorated with rustic X-back chairs. Florida wedding planner Supposey brought the reception to life through its coordination, event rentals, and wedding florals. The black and white checkered dance floor and custom wedding monogram by Shuler Studio used throughout the wedding were elegant details we adored. The wedding monogram also tied into the engraved wedding invitation suite, which was designed by Artesana Imports.
The party enjoyed a hearty catered reception and stunning wedding cakes by local cake artist Betty Weber. Live music by popular wedding band 2nd Coming kept the dance floor packed all night, and Carter’s custom cigar bar was equally popular. As the reception approached its end, Caroline and Carter treated guests to a late-night snack: Krispy Kreme doughnuts! The night finished with a sparkling send-off and classic car getaway.
Congratulations to Caroline and Carter--thank you for letting us be a part of your big day!
