Madison and Tyler’s bohemian winter wedding captured the spirit of this creative couple perfectly. Their wedding was held at Oak Meadow Event Center, a modern farmhouse wedding venue in Alabama beloved by brides for its light and airy aesthetic.

As Madison got ready with her bridesmaids, she had her natural bridal makeup done by makeup artist Cameron Knight. Hairstylist Nealy Messer created a gorgeous curled wedding day hairstyle that complemented Madison’s glamorous wedding dress.

Knowing she wanted a unique wedding dress tailored to her style, Madison came to our atelier, as we are the only bridal shop in Alabama with a team of in-house designers. Madison was drawn to different elements of several dresses within our Build-A-Bride™ minimalist wedding dress collection, and we were able to combine all of them into one. Madison started with our Meghan Augusta gown, then changed the neckline to an angled sweetheart like that of our Violet Rain gown.

With dreams of a long sleeve wedding dress, Madison fell in love with our Jordan Top, which features sheer long sleeves and sparkle lace appliques at the shoulder and wrist. We combined multiple dress patterns together into one cohesive dress designed just for Madison. For extra drama, we dropped the back ultra low like our Meghan Lee gown, creating a sexy wedding dress with low back that was set off by a row of buttons down the back.

We are so grateful that Madison trusted us to create this custom wedding dress for her, and she truly appreciated our personalized wedding dress experience. She finished her wedding day look with our bestselling wedding veil–our Clean Edge Chapel Veil–a pair of chic block heels, and of course, her beautiful diamond wedding ring.

To complement his bride, Tyler wore a dark green velvet tuxedo jacket, which suited the winter wedding inspiration perfectly. His groomsmen wore classic black tuxes, while the bridesmaids wore black satin bridesmaids dresses with off-shoulder neckline. The all-black attire of the wedding party looked striking against the white farmhouse setting and allowed Madison and Tyler to be the center of attention.

The modern wedding ceremony showcased some of our top wedding trends, including a custom wedding neon sign and minimalist black wedding arches in lieu of a traditional wedding altar. Event designer and florist Weston Gray brought together the modern black and white wedding inspiration with expert taste–Madison’s bohemian wedding bouquet is one of the most uniquely stunning we’ve ever seen! Wedding planner King Event Co. (who is a past #HeidiBride!) coordinated every detail with care.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds took sunset wedding photos amidst the natural landscape surrounding them. Wedding photography team The Wipplers captured each moment with pure artistry and videographer LIVEMORE Weddings created a cinematic wedding film that is truly breathtaking.

Madison and Tyler joined their guests at the reception, where everyone was greeted with a glass of bubbly from the modern champagne wall. The clean black and white wedding aesthetic popped with the use of sculptural white orchids instead of classic greenery. Even the couples’ wedding cakes–the modern white wedding cake and dark chocolate groom’s cake–carried out the chic wedding theme.

The reception quickly turned into an all-night dance party, and the entire evening looked like so much fun! The night ended with a celebratory sparkler send-off and the newlyweds driving away in a vintage red Chevrolet Impala.
