Just like the precious couple themselves, Chelsea and Hayden’s farm wedding was equal parts elevated glamour and southern comfort. The couple wed at Donavan Inn and Lakes, the bride’s scenic family farm in Marion, Alabama, with every joyous moment captured by Alabama wedding photographer Megan Kennedy Photography.

Chelsea got ready with her girls in coordinating satin bridal party robes; Chelsea’s embellished bride robe with lace appliques fit her personality to a T. Hair and makeup artist Brittany Ashton executed Chelsea’s bridal vision beautifully, applying her glamorous bridal makeup and styling her bridal hair into a cascade of shiny waves that looked effortlessly stunning.

When Chelsea stepped into her Heidi Elnora wedding gown, all eyes were on her. She holds the unique honor of being the last #HeidiBride to wear our Savannah Boyd ball gown wedding dress, which features a dropped waist wedding dress bodice with ruching that flows into a softly layered handkerchief wedding dress skirt.

Says Chelsea of her wedding dress experience, “After trying on dozens of beautiful dresses at bridal boutiques all around the state, I was losing hope that my ‘dream dress’ existed. The second I stepped into the unmistakable layers of Savannah Boyd’s organza and Liz zipped me in, I felt it…that feeling you always hear about. The first twirl in this dress, and all the others faded away.”

With the finishing touches of crystal-embellished Badgley Mischka bridal shoes and a lace veil by Amsale, the classically feminine bridal look Chelsea had dreamed about since she was a little girl came to life. Sticking with a color palette of soft neutrals, Chelsea’s mom wore a lovely blush pink mother of the bride dress with lace, and her bridesmaids wore a variety of Jasmine Bridal bridesmaids dresses in a subtle blush nude.

Hayden and his groomsmen looked like true gentlemen in their classic black tuxedos by Mobley and Sons, bringing a dash of Hollywood glamour to the natural farm setting. Tying everything together were the Tea Olive Designs wedding bouquets, which featured both earthy eucalyptus and elegant white roses in perfect juxtaposition.

As Chelsea walked down the aisle set against a charming farmhouse, violinist Jennifer Louie serenaded the wedding guests. Following the exchange of vows, the wedding guests enjoyed a sun-dappled outdoor reception featuring elegant decor by Encore Party and Tent Rental and a mouthwatering buffet spread by Southern Ale House.

The thoughtful way local wedding planner Keely Duke Events married Chelsea and Hayden’s distinct styles into one elegantly southern affair was perfection–from the initial wedding stationary suite by SWAG to the black-and-white checkered dance floor adorned with string lights. Additional reception highlights include the entertaining live music by wedding band On Live Band and wedding cakes made by family friend Lisa Rayfield.

As the sun set, the guests celebrated with an all-night dance party, with talented videographer Holloway Productions capturing every moment for the couple’s wedding reel. At the end of the night, Chelsea and Hayden surprised their guests with a send-off not just with sparklers, but with incredible sparkler cannons by Elite Productions–what a way to celebrate! Transportation by Black Tie Chauffeur escorted the newlyweds away into their new chapter as husband and wife.
