Brooklyn and Trevor’s beachside wedding shone brightly from start to finish! The elegantly coastal affair began with a ceremony at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and ended with a reception on a cruise–it couldn’t have been more perfect for this couple!

Brooklyn and her bridesmaids got ready with local hair and makeup artist team The Glow App. Each bridesmaid had a loose curled bridesmaid hairstyle to match her personality, and Brooklyn’s natural glam bridal makeup and bridal updo suited her perfectly. The group wore matching blush pink bridesmaids dresses with a cowl neckline, while Brooklyn changed into her customized wedding dress.

Our Laura Lynne romantic wedding dress is a favorite amongst our brides, and it allows endless options to be personalized to a bride’s style. Brooklyn loved the plunging V-neckline and flowy wedding dress skirt of this style; she opted to change the lining from nude to white for a more traditional wedding dress look. Instead of the crystal beaded embellishment on the shoulders and waist, Brooklyn’s creativity shone as she selected a 3-D floral lace from our fabric collection for a whimsical, feminine detail. It is amazing how just a few tweaks to a gown can create a one-of-a-kind wedding dress.

Because we are a bridal design house, we can further customize a bride’s look through her wedding accessories. Brooklyn loved the floral lace on her gown so much, we custom designed her a 3-D floral lace veil with the same lace from her dress. She even added a couple lace appliques to her shoes for a perfectly coordinated wedding day look.

Brooklyn radiated confidence and grace in her wedding dress, and her groom Trevor looked dapper in his blue suit with blush pink tie. The subtle use of blush pink throughout the wedding–from the wedding invitation suite to the classic floral bouquets by Forget Me Knot Florals–tied the whole day together. The light and airy wedding photography by Birmingham photography duo Katie and Alec Photography captured the couple’s adorable connection amidst this romantic setting.

Brooklyn walked down the grassy aisle to classical string music by Bow Tied Music, then exchanged her own written vows with Trevor under a floral-adorned wedding arch. Following a sweet, tearful ceremony and gorgeous dockside photos at sunset, the newlyweds and their guests boarded a cherry red cruise ship by SunQuest Cruises for their reception at sea.

This boat wedding reception looked so fun, and we know it was an unforgettable experience for guests. From the catered dinner and live DJ provided by SunQuest Cruises to the traditional wedding cake by Just Think Cake, this reception kept guests entertained while aboard at sea. Wedding videographer ING Studios captured every moment to create a video capsule from the day that the couple will treasure forever.

After arriving back on land, Brooklyn and Trevor enjoyed a sparkler send-off with their guests and started their next chapter as husband and wife. We loved working with Brooklyn, as she truly appreciated every stage of her wedding dress experience. We wish her and Trevor all the best!
