A dreamy day set on the coast, Lauren and Brian’s wedding felt like a breath of fresh air. The couple exchanged vows in Cleveland, Ohio at the Shoreby Club, a wedding venue with panoramic views of Lake Erie. With help from wedding planner ShiShi Events, Lauren and Brian took inspiration from the breathtaking views to bring coastal style into every element of their wedding.

Lauren wore the May May Cates wedding dress from Heidi Elnora’s Build-A-Bride™ collection, a sultry sheath dress featuring a v-neck bodice and flowing drape in the back. She customized her wedding dress by adding lace detail along the back bodice for a feminine detail. Lauren explains the unique way our team works with brides to build their perfect dress: “Heidi employed a smart, fun, and systematic approach to find me a dress. First, she had me try on different silhouettes. Once I found a silhouette that I loved, she had me try different fabrics, appliques, and additions until it was perfect. In the end, my dress was amazing, original and very ‘me’.”

Lauren’s classic bridal look was complemented by bridesmaids dresses in a barely-there nude color, along with wedding hair by Megan Cox Bridal and wedding makeup by Cleveland Bridal Makeup. As for Brian and his groomsmen, the gentlemen wore sharp navy blue suits with colorful needlepoint belts for a preppy accent. The florals by Ohio wedding florist Molly Taylor and Co. in shades of white, blush, and nude captured the natural beauty of the Cleveland coast.

As guests entered the wedding reception, they were greeted by a grand tented space by Able Rentals sprinkled with coastal accents like knotted rope, rustic wood tones, and shades of soft blue. The space was completed by dramatic lighting by Vincent Lighting, furniture rentals by Event Source Rentals, and crisp linens by BBJ Linen. The stunning wedding cake by well-known Cleveland bakery White Flower Cake Company featured a pop of metallic gold.

The wedding reception went long into the evening with live music by the Simone Vitale band, with everything captured by Ohio-based photographer Steve Steinhardt and local videographer Storybox Cinema.
