anna + toby
An ethereal setting drenched in light and love set the scene for Anna and Toby’s modern boho wedding. The couple wed at Bradford Farms, a gorgeous rustic farm and wedding venue in North Alabama.
Anna got ready in a glamorous fur-trimmed bridal robe while she and her bridesmaids enjoyed mimosas and charcuterie. Local hair and makeup artist Caitlynn Nix styled each girl with fresh wedding makeup and trendy bridesmaid hairstyles to suit their personal styles. For Anna, Caitlynn created a gorgeous slicked back bridal bun that looked effortlessly chic with her designer wedding dress.
From the first time we spoke with Anna, she told us she wanted a totally original and fashion-forward wedding dress. Anna had the chance to work with our designer Heidi Elnora, who created a unique wedding dress overlay for the bride. Taking inspiration from our Summerlin Skirt, Heidi designed a sheer wedding dress cape that we embellished with branch-like crystal embroidery around the neckline.
To compliment her show-stopping bridal cape, Anna selected a minimalist wedding dress from our Build-A-Bride collection. Her gown is based off of our Brittany Massey crepe wedding dress with a straight neckline. This modern wedding gown served as the perfect choice to enhance Anna’s sheer wedding overlay without taking away from the couture piece.
With luxe textures carrying through the entire fall wedding style, Anna chose dark green velvet bridesmaids dresses with slits for her friends, which looked striking against the rustic wooded venue. Toby and his groomsmen wore tan suits with floral patterned ties–the perfect modern groomsmen style! To tie everything together, Anna and her bridesmaids carried neutral bridal bouquets filled with an array of soft florals and bohemian textures.
The ceremony took place in the Bradford Farms open air chapel, which features an all-white church interior, stained glass windows, and antique wedding pews. This is one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues in Alabama we’ve ever seen! Birmingham photographer BRD Photography captured each moment with her artful eye and creative wedding photography style.
After the “I dos,” Anna and Toby joined their guests in the expansive reception hall for a fun reception filled with food, dancing, and laughter. As an all-inclusive wedding venue, Bradford Farms took care of many of the details, including the catering, wedding cake, DJ, and event rentals. Alabama wedding photographer Katelyn Elaine handled the wedding videography, capturing the day from beginning to end. As the evening wrapped up, guests cheered on the newlyweds with a spirited bubble send off.
Anna was such a fun bride to work with–we love any opportunity to get creative with our brides, and we appreciate Anna for trusting us with such a special garment. Congrats to the happy couple!
