Micah and Alex’s beach wedding married classic wedding style with an effortless coastal vibe. Each moment was captured by the artful eye of popular Alabama wedding photographer Leslie Hollingsworth.

The ladies got ready in coordinating satin bridesmaids pajamas, with Micah wearing white satin bridal pajamas and chic velvet slippers. The talented hair and makeup team at Gallant Glam gave Micah a loose bridal updo and natural wedding makeup that made her glow. The wedding party wore soft sage and blush bridesmaid dresses, which allowed Micah’s timeless wedding dress to take center stage.

Micah’s customized wedding dress brings together elements from several styles within our Build-A-Bride collection of minimalist wedding gowns. She started with our Callie Poole V-neck wedding dress in a luxurious mikado fabric. Micah changed the fit-and-flare skirt style to a sheath for a cleaner look and added the cowl back wedding dress detail featured on our popular May May Cates gown.

With our unique wedding dress experience, every bride has the option to pick and choose each element of her gown to realize her full wedding dress vision–that is exactly what Micah did, and the result is stunning! To emphasize the dramatic wedding dress back, Micah selected our Orion detachable train, which created an extra-long train and a beautiful silhouette.

For the finishing touches, Micah worked with our design team to style her wedding day look to perfection. At our top-rated Birmingham bridal salon, we offer a curated selection of bridal jewelry and wedding veils to complete every bride’s look. Micah chose the Toni Federici Abracadabra pearl veil and Sara Gabriel bridal statement earrings, and the way the pearl detail ties into both bridal accessories is gorgeous! To complement his bride, groom Alex wore a dashing tuxedo from Jos. A. Bank.

Following an outdoor wedding ceremony, Micah and Alex joined their guests for an elegant wedding reception. The grand floral centerpieces by Forget Me Knot featured bright white flowers and sprays of greenery that tied in beautifully with the pops of hunter green throughout the reception space.

The wedding planning team at Champagne Pop Events did a wonderful job creating a cohesive, elegant wedding style that celebrated the beachside setting. We especially love the wedding cake and golf-themed groom’s cake! After a night of dancing and good food, the wedding party sent off the newlyweds with a spirited shaker send-off.
