The authenticity of Hayley and Erik’s love for each other was unmistakable at their July garden wedding! Birmingham Botanical Gardens was the perfect summer wedding venue for their intimate wedding. The spirit of their modern boho wedding day was elegantly curated by Birmingham wedding planner Leveille Creative Co.

Hayley shared a special morning with her bridesmaids getting ready in a cozy family home. She showcased her refined beauty with natural glam bridal makeup done by Cosmetics by Mackenzie and a curled half up half down bridal hair style by Perfectly Undone Beauty. Along with her stunning vintage wedding ring from Trumpet & Horn, Hayley accessorized with a pair of gold Loeffler Randall heels. Her bridesmaids each wore unique floral print bridesmaids dresses, and the groom sported attire from Suit Supply.

Hayley worked with our designer Heidi to create her minimalist wedding dress. She started with the May May Cates crepe wedding dress from our Build-a-Bride collection and customized it with a small waistband. This cowl back wedding dress was a showstopper as she walked down the aisle. She chose Diane’s Reweaving Alterations for her wedding dress alterations to make sure her dress was perfectly fitted for her. To complete her look, Hayley chose our chapel length Rae Veil. This Alencon lace trimmed wedding veil beautifully complemented her wedding look.

Hayley and Erik’s ceremony venue was filled with vibrant floral arrangements by Laurel and Sage Florals. These unique flower arrangements tied back into the imagery used on their invitations by Party Sally. A vintage photo wall of past family weddings added a sentimental and personal touch. Their joy-filled ceremony was accompanied by ceremony music from Music Excursions.

Following the couple’s intimate ceremony, guests headed to the Ireland Room at the Gardens for the wedding reception. The reception decorations from Decor 2 Adore and PropHouse Birmingham tied in colors and elements from the wedding ceremony floral arrangements. This buffet-style wedding reception, catered by Kathy G & Co., included a decadent array of food, followed by a modern tiered wedding cake from local bakery Magic Muffins. The couple and guests danced the night away while reception band The Negotiators kept them on the dance floor. Birmingham wedding photographer Oh Honey Photos perfectly captured the energy and excitement of the reception. Guests were treated to a late night wedding snack from Naughty But Nice Kettle Corn Co. before the bride and groom’s streamer send-off.
