Carlen and Baylee’s spring wedding is one of the most beautiful we’ve seen! From the unique wedding venue to the on-trend wedding details throughout, every part of this wedding was thoughtfully designed to make the guest experience unforgettable! Be Light Photography captured the day beautifully with a light and airy wedding photography style, while Brent Shows Video caught the spirited mood through his timeless videography.

The couple got married at Otter Creek Farmstead & Distillery, a rustic wedding venue with open air and rolling hills. The venue’s preferred wedding planner Details by Rebecca did an incredible job merging Carlen’s feminine style into this farmstead wedding venue. We adore the modern wedding invitations by Fine Paperwork, which perfectly complements Carlen’s diamond engagement ring and wedding band nestled within a blush pink Mrs. ring box.

Carlen got ready in a white lace bridal robe, while her girls wore matching bridesmaids pajamas and slippers. Their effortless bridal hairstyle was done by wedding hair stylists Michele Moskal and Whitney Adkins, while Birmingham makeup artistry group GLOW did the bridal makeup. For a fresh twist on bridesmaids dresses, Carlen chose white satin slip dresses that coordinated with her timeless bridal look.

Working with Carlen to design her custom wedding dress was a dream, and the end result is a one-of-a-kind wedding dress unlike any other. Carlen fell in love with our Mary Jane Darling boho wedding dress, which features a beautiful all-over lace and scalloped hem. She customized her designer wedding dress by changing the bodice to that of our Tiffany Nicole spaghetti strap wedding dress. The V-neck front and low scoop back complemented Carlen’s natural beauty, and the addition of hand-sewn bridal lace appliques on the shoulders added the perfect finishing detail. Because she custom designed her gown, Carlen is the first and only bride to wear this unique lace wedding dress!

Carlen slipped into a pair of trendy Golden Goose sneakers for comfort and style, and she kept her bridal jewelry to a minimum for a clean and classic look. Her mom wore a pale pink mother of the bride dress with elegant draping that tied in beautifully with the blush pink wedding bouquets designed by local florist Bloom & Petal. At Heidi Elnora Atelier, we are excited to launch our first-ever line of designer mother of the bride dresses available at our flagship location in Birmingham, AL.

As Carlen walked down the stunning outdoor wedding aisle, music by Chad Ellis along with harpist Abigail Workman and violinist Jordan Ford set a lovely ambience. The rustic wedding altar was adorned with dramatic sprays of pampas grass floral arrangements.

After the vows, guests entered a gorgeous indoor/outdoor wedding reception featuring wedding tablescapes adorned with florals, crystal jars, and gold candlesticks along with wooden X-back chairs, perfectly sprinkling in feminine glamour into this rustic southern wedding venue. The event rentals by HotHouse Design Studio and linens by Decor to Adore brought the entire reception space together.

The centerpiece of the reception was an ivy wall showcasing a pink velvet couch and wedding neon sign with the couple’s last name--a truly Instagram-worthy wedding photobooth! The modern wedding cake by Sugar and Stems and fun tequila-themed groom’s cake by Pen and Pastry were not only beautiful, but also delicious. The venue Otter Creek Farmstead & Distillery provided the catering, which featured southern-meets-Mexican favorites like ribeye tacos and black eyed peas. Popular wedding DJ Feel the Beat and guitarist Jared Utt kept the guests on their feet all night.
