Jade and Jack are an exuberant couple whose awe-inspiring wedding fit them perfectly. With every detail planned by Birmingham wedding planner M. Elizabeth Events, the couple’s wedding day felt classic with a dose of elegant drama. The wedding was photographed by husband and wife wedding photography team Eric and Jamie and filmed by wedding videographer Resolute Films.

Jade’s designer wedding dress is one of our favorites, because she took a minimalist wedding dress and added custom details to make a one-of-a-kind wedding look. Jade chose our Tiffany Nicole sexy wedding dress, but she changed the fabric from crepe to mikado to add structured formality to her gown. Our designers then custom draped our small sparkle straps along the back, creating the perfect dramatic moment as Jade walked down the aisle at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.

We love that Jade embraced her natural curls on her wedding day, and her gorgeous wedding hair and wedding makeup were done by Makeup Mel, a local hair and makeup artist. To bring a formal atmosphere to this grand wedding, Jade’s bridesmaids wore beautiful black one-shoulder bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaids, while Jack and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos by Jos. A Bank. The wedding rings came from local Birmingham jeweler Isbell Jewelers.

The traditional church wedding ceremony transitioned into a glamorous wedding reception at Haven, an industrial wedding venue in Birmingham. The popular wedding venue was swathed in drapery and grand floral arrangements by AG Events featuring natural greenery, pink and white flowers, and pampas grass. AG Events, which offers full-service event concept design, also brought in event rentals that showcased natural tones with gold accents.

The wedding reception was catered by Full Moon BBQ, a Birmingham BBQ restaurant that also offers wedding and event catering. The beautiful wedding cake and groom’s cake by Sweet Magnolia Cakes weren’t the only sweet treats Jade and Jack offered their guests--they included a dessert bar by Cookie Fix, a popular cookie bakery in Homewood! Wedding guests danced all night to live entertainment by wedding band Big Bling and the Funk Machine and enjoyed the Flash Bar wedding photo booth. After an evening of dancing, drinks, and desserts, the newlyweds drove off in style in a vintage car by Coats Classic Cars.

We adored working with Jade to design a custom wedding dress for her big day, and we wish her and Jack all the love and happiness as they start their lives together!
