Makayla and Eli tied the knot with a picture perfect Alabama wedding. Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at Park Crest Event Facility, where the couple made the most of the venue’s stunning outdoor and indoor event spaces. Wedding photographer Olivia Joy captured every enchanting moment of their special day.

Before prepping for the day, Eli and his groomsmen enjoyed their morning on the golf course. They were sure to include his bride’s photo on personalized golf balls! While the boys were out on the course, Makayla and her bridal party spent the morning relaxing while wearing matching white pajama sets and matching slippers. The bride herself shined in a white feather trimmed bridal robe and white feathered slippers. Bridal hair and makeup artist Holly Clough gave Makayla a loose curled bridal hairstyle and a stunning glam bridal makeup look that accentuated her bright blue eyes.

Makayla’s custom beaded wedding dress was such a joy to work on. She chose our Coco Marie trumpet wedding dress and customized the original sweetheart neckline by raising it and making it a straight neckline, then she added a delicate spaghetti strap. Makayla hand-selected her beading from our unique selection of beading options. Our team then individually placed each beaded panel to create a custom beading pattern before sewing it to the dress by hand. The white sparkly beading was the perfect amount of shimmer to complement her wedding rings from Diamonds Direct. To create a two-in-one bridal look, Makayla wore a customized version of our Orion Skirt detachable train during her wedding ceremony, which she later removed for the reception. She also wore a chapel length veil to complete her designer wedding dress with sparkle.

The couple exchanged vows during an elegant outdoor wedding ceremony. Eli and his groomsmen cleaned up nicely in their tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse, while the bridal party wore light blue peplum bridesmaids dresses from Bella Bridesmaids. The blue of their dresses highlighted the pops of color in the white, blue, and green wedding floral arrangements by Ricky Whitley, and it also reflected the blue accents used for their wedding stationary by Title Stationary. After saying “I do,” the couple and their guests headed inside to celebrate.

Makayla and Eli’s Instagram-worthy wedding reception was full of confetti, dancing, and excitement accompanied by music from reception band Nacho Daddy and Michael Warren. Wedding videographer Sophie Burzynski caught every smile and every move on film. Platinum Entertainment provided a 360 photo booth for guests to take photos to document the night. They were also able to leave voicemails for the couple to listen to afterwards in a wedding phone booth from After The Tone. We love the trend of having a reception phone for guests to leave messages and advice for the bride and groom to keep forever! After admiring their painting from live wedding painter Cindy Marie, Makayla and Eli treated their guests to a delicious late night snack from McDonald’s. Their reception wasn’t complete without a rainbow streamer send-off before exiting in their getaway car from Hall’s Cars.
