Alison and Stephen’s formal summer wedding captured a timeless wedding style steeped in effortless glamour. Every detail was brought together by M. Elizabeth Events, a luxury wedding planner in Birmingham. The classic wedding photography by Michelle Stanislo Photography showcased the love between this sweet newlywed couple.

The classic wedding invitations featuring a custom wedding monogram by Annabelle’s set the scene for the chic affair. Alison and her bridesmaids got ready at The Club, one of the most popular wedding venues in Birmingham with breathtaking views of the city. Hair and makeup artists Hannah Garnett and Rebecca McWhirter styled Alison’s loose bridal updo and glamorous smoky eye wedding day makeup. The bridesmaids’ hairstyles were also beautiful, and each girl’s look was styled to suit her personality. Their high-neck bridesmaids dresses in a lovely shade of dove grey by Weddington Way fit the classic wedding style to a T.

Alison worked with our fashion designers at Heidi Elnora Atelier to create her custom wedding dress, which featured a unique off-the-shoulder wedding dress neckline. She started with our base dress Coco Marie, a universally flattering trumpet wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline. From there, Alison selected designer wedding dress details that made her gown one-of-a-kind. Her custom bodice is created from a gorgeous lattice beaded lace panel studded with pearls that adds just the right amount of wedding dress sparkle.

Our design team then custom-draped an off-shoulder neckline that criss-crossed in the front, bringing an elegant three-dimensional silhouette to Alison’s gown. Alison and Stephen exchanged vows in a traditional church wedding ceremony at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The bright white floral altar centerpiece and greenery bunches adorning each pew were designed by HotHouse Design Studio, a talented florist and event designer in Birmingham. Stephen’s classic black tuxedo by Mr. Burch was the perfect complement for Alison’s elegant wedding dress. After saying “I do,” the couple joined their guests for a glamorous wedding reception at The Club.

We love the simple glamour of the mercury glass centerpieces, which looked elegant alongside the custom wedding monogram by Shuler Studio that adorned multiple decorative elements throughout the day. The fresh, summer menu was enjoyed by guests, as were the wedding cakes by Magic Muffins; both Alison’s floral wedding cake and Stephen’s minimalist groom’s cake looked striking within the formal event venue. Following a dance party reception and nighttime skyline photos, the wedding ended with a fun confetti send-off and a white classic car.
