dylan + eddie

Dylan and Eddie are the epitome of a happy couple. Their joy is easily shared through every single image that local photographer in Birmingham, Alabama, Grant Benton, took.

This gorgeous outdoor wedding took place in October. The bride and her bridesmaids got ready at Dylan’s childhood home, and their family farm was the backdrop for the joyous occasion. From a made-from-scratch breakfast, to the naked wedding cake, designed and created by the brides’ mother-in-law, this Southern wedding had all of the details. The fall wedding was inspired by soft and subtle shades of hunter green, taupe, white, with hints of a pale blush and soft coral. This theme was also carried out through the calligraphy wedding invitations with green velvet ribbon.

Dylan wore the Aurora Maya dress from the Build-A-Bride™ collection, purchased at a local bridal shop, the Heidi Elnora Atelier, for her wedding day. The Aurora Maya ball gown wedding dress is a tulle wedding dress with a fitted satin bodice and spaghetti straps. She customized her wedding dress by changing the back to gathered tulle and adding intricate embroidered lace wedding dress appliques from Paris. She finished off the look with a chapel length wedding veil. Dylan’s dress was a custom designed wedding dress by Build-A-Bride™ founder and designer, Heidi Elnora, who happens to be Dylan’s older cousin. The bride’s flower girl also wore a custom flower girl dress with hand appliqued embroidery details and a flower crown.

The bridesmaid dresses came from a popular online bridesmaid dress shop, Azazie. While the Mother-Of-The-Bride wore a mother of the bride dress from Saks Fifth Avenue. Dylan asked her brother, Orion, to be her man of honor, and he wore a custom Ralph Lauren suit. The groom, Eddie, and his groomsman purchased their tuxes from Mr. Burch Formal Wear, a local wedding tuxedo vendor.

Creekside Meadows, a rustic outdoor wedding venue, was the perfect backdrop for the occasion.  The night was filled with food, fun, fellowship, and a whole lot of dancing. The happy couple stayed at a popular hotel in Birmingham, The Tutwiler, before wisping away to their honeymooned at the Couples Resort Jamaica.
