Jesica and Brett’s Alys Beach wedding was a joyous beachside party, and we loved being a part of it! Every beautiful detail--from the coastal wedding color scheme to the grand reception--was planned by Alabama wedding planner Becky’s Brides. Popular Birmingham wedding photographers Eric and Jamie as well as wedding videographer The Film Poets captured the entire day on camera. The custom wedding stationary by Empress Stationery beautifully set the stage for the intimate and fun-filled Alys Beach wedding.

Bride Jesica thoughtfully custom designed her trumpet wedding dress to fit her winter beach wedding. She chose our Meghan Augusta fit-to-flare wedding dress in a duchesse satin for an extra dose of luxury. Our designers added to her custom wedding dress an illusion long sleeve bodice, to which they hand sewed custom lace detail at the wrists. We love a wedding dress with buttons down the back, and the addition of our clean edge chapel-length veil finished off Jesica’s bridal look while emphasizing the beautiful wedding dress back detail.

Jesica’s wedding hair and wedding makeup were done by local hair and makeup artist Monica Buckner. Brett opted for a modern groom look with blush pink accents; his blue three-piece groom’s suit, shirt, and tie came from local Birmingham men’s retailer Shaia’s. The special touches, such as Jesica’s custom heirloom clutch and the custom champagne bottle, were created by Etsy artist Love, Amarie. The couple’s wedding rings came from Isbell Jewelers, a Birmingham-based custom jeweler.

The wedding reception welcomed guests with beachside grandeur. The wedding tent was draped in florals and natural greenery by local florist Myrtie Blue and linens by Decor to Adore. The lighting by Onsite Productions and furniture rentals by SOHO Event Rentals brought warmth to the open event space. The wedding reception was catered by Townsend Catering, an event caterer in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Our favorite detail from the day was the chic champagne cart by Birmingham event designer PropHouse Birmingham--who wouldn’t want to be greeted with a glass of champagne at a beachside wedding?
