Victoria and Jacob’s scenic mountainside wedding in Lookout Mountain, GA was truly awe-inspiring. They shared their vows in October within the historically charming walls of Lookout Mountain Fairyland Club, a 1926 Tudor clubhouse and wedding venue with breathtaking cliffside views. Victoria wore a Heidi Elnora wedding dress from our Build-A-Bride™ collection, the Diana Kelly. This modified ball gown features a deep v-neckline, a wide natural waist band, and a flat front skirt with box pleats that exaggerate the ball gown silhouette. The Diana Kelly wedding dress also has a chapel length train with buttons, and Victoria customized the dress by adding a slit for extra movement. “Knowing my husband loves to dance, it was a necessity to me that my wedding dress was easy to move in,” says Victoria. “I continue to look back with gratitude on how light and easy my Heidi Elnora dress was to dance around in.” Not only do they love to dance, but the couple did a modified version of “The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing for their first dance!

A sentimental detail Victoria incorporated into her wedding day look was an item of jewelry from each grandmother in both her and Jacob’s families, including a gold anklet from Victoria’s grandmother and a sapphire blue ring from Jacob’s grandmother. Victoria had her wedding hair done by Chattanooga hairstylist Mindy Burns and her wedding makeup done by Chattanooga makeup artist Grace Baskette. Victoria’s bridesmaids brought a dose of sparkle to the mountainside in their rose gold sequined bridesmaid dresses, while Jacob and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse

The wedding brought in Victoria’s creative talents as well. She learned calligraphy from a family friend and ultimately designed and created her own wedding invitations--we love that Victoria imbued her artistry within such a special memento from her big day. Victoria also surprised Jacob with a sentimental gift before their wedding ceremony. “My dad built us a beautiful wine glass shelf that hangs in our dining room,” says Victoria, “Since Jacob and I were getting married at the top of a mountain, I painted mountains on a wine glass to give Jacob on our wedding day.”

The historic wedding venue was filled with gorgeous flowers in shades of burgundy and pink by Ramblewood Events, a Chattanooga-based events and design company. Victoria’s vision was brought to life by wedding coordinators Jenn McAteer and Kristy Lee Events. The wedding day events--from the sweet getting ready moments to the all-out dance party at the reception--were captured perfectly by wedding photographer Emily Berolino with Jenn McAteer Weddings and wedding videographer Axel Marshall Productions.

Congratulations to the stunning couple! We are so excited for Victoria and Jacob to start their life together and wish them a life full of happiness.
