When you think of the perfect southern bohemian wedding, nothing tops Arrie and Dan’s September ceremony. The entire day felt warm, relaxed, and perfectly fitting for the love between this sweet couple. Arrie married Dan on her family’s land in Titus, AL surrounded by family and a few special guests--the family’s horses! Rather than walk down the aisle, Arrie rode into the ceremony on horseback to meet her groom, where the pair exchanged vows before a rustic wooden cross. For a sentimental touch, the couple incorporated vintage family photos into the wedding ceremony.

Arrie’s wedding dress is unlike any gown our team has designed before: Arrie knew she wanted a uniquely bohemian wedding dress, so she worked with our founder and designer Heidi Elnora to dream up a completely custom creation. Arrie’s wedding dress is actually three pieces: an illusion lace bodice, flowing skirt, and lace shorts underneath. The pleated silk chiffon skirt is based on our Camilla Darling silhouette, which could be removed after the ceremony to reveal a cute lace romper--perfect for dancing the night away to the mariachi band at the reception!

A few of our favorite details from the wedding day were Arrie’s whimsical heart-shaped diamond ring and the shades of blue woven throughout the entire day, from the bridesmaids dresses to the outdoor wedding reception tablescapes. 

Simple, dreamy, and meaningful: we are awestruck by the beauty surrounding Arrie and Dan’s wedding day. Working with Arrie was such a special experience, and we are lucky to call her a Heidi bride!
